Our two years Diploma and short term certificate programs will give you an introductory understanding of the Bible and then help you understand how to apply it into a specific area depending on the certificate’s emphasis. It is a wise pursuit if you are undecided about a vocation, if you want to become more useful in your local church, or if you seek personal spiritual growth.
Intercultural Studies and Theology
UOHS offers practical and academic training in a mission-oriented setting. This is an interdenominational evangelical bible program.
Intercultural Studies and Theology one year program provides training for students who prepare for cross-cultural support ministries, short-term cross-cultural ministry and for those who for other reasons have limited time for training.
The course majors on biblical and theological subjects, but includes also missiological and communication courses to develop basic skills in sharing the gospel cross-culturally. Included in the Cornerstone one year program is a three-week hands-on cross-cultural mission experience.
Certificate in Biblical Studies
This program is designed to challenge the seasoned and inform the new Bible student. Outcomes of the program are to give a fresh introduction to the scriptures, tools for correctly explaining the word of truth, and equipping personal spiritual formation.
The Certificate Program is a 7-course, 21-credit directed study in biblical studies. The program includes a course in spirituality, followed by courses in Old and New Testament content, theology, and exegesis.
Bible & Ministry Certificate
Through this course, students’ will gain a deeper knowledge of the Word of God as well as develop practical skills that will equip them for life and ministry..
Certificate in Youth Ministry
The Certificate in Youth Ministry is designed for Youth Pastors or volunteers who want to be trained to minister more effectively. Students will be taught to study the Bible, to disciple and counsel students, to think through biblical principles related to the purpose and method of youth ministry.
Children’s Ministry Certificate
Students completing a Children’s Ministry certificate will be able to examine the need for education in the church, recognize the role of a children’s minister, and describe their own involvement in that role. It recognize the fundamental components of a lesson and develop their own Biblical lessons for a church audience. It helps design a children’s educational program to recruit and train volunteers for the educational ministry of a local church.

Skill Development Program
Students who feel they could be called to become a church minister might find clarity and skill development in a ministry studies program. These courses most often focus on practical essentials, such as church administration, and faith studies. Special training would given to students to improve the skills like spoken English. Guidance and training for USA, Canada and Australia. Japanese Language training for Japan Ministry.

.All of UOSH domestic and international ministries are coordinated through the Ravi Abraham Ministries Department. There are many great opportunities to join a team for Soul- Winning, Church Planting, Direct Field Evangelism, Healing & Deliverance – Fire Conferences and Evangelism Tours.

Each applicant should be a confessing Christian with evidence thereof. He/She should be an active member of a local church and possess a good reputation as a true Christian.
Recommendations
Letters of recommendation must come from the local pastor, previous institution, and a responsible elder from the church or community (no family members) who have known the applicant for at least three or more years
Calling for God's work.
The applicant must demonstrate a definite call to full-time ministry and willingness to go to unreached areas to make disciples for Christ and plant churches.
Degree Programs
The three-year Bachelor of Theology is a standard seminary degree in English medium, which offers a wide flexibility of emphasis in ministerial preparation. The aim of this program is to prepare those who are called for the ministry of Evangelism with the power of Holy Spirit with miracles and signs and Pastoral Care in the Church.
